What is the Sri Yantra? Meaning and Origin

The SRI YANTRA is the most significant mandala within the Hindu tradition, representing the cosmos on a macroscopic scale and the human body on a microscopic scale. It symbolizes the union of the masculine and feminine principles from which life emerges.

Structure and Sacred Geometry

In ancient cultures, this mandala served as the basis for the construction of temples and sacred symbols, being considered the science behind the archetypes of creation. The Sacred Geometry that composes it acts as a signifier, indicating the existence of a divine order in our reality. It is formed by nine interwoven triangles organized in such a way that they create a total of 43 smaller triangles, representing both the structure of the universe and that of the human being.
