ArteSanae Collection Mandala "COSMOLOGIA TIBETANA"

​The Tibetan Cosmology Mandala is based on the profound concepts of astronomical and astrological symbolism rooted in the rich Tibetan Buddhist culture. This mandala is much more than a mere representation; it is a symbolic gateway to understanding the universe and spiritual quest.
The meticulously designed symmetry and balance of this mandala embody the sought-after harmony in life. Its pivotal role in Tibetan meditation and rituals is essential for spiritual practice, allowing devotees to immerse themselves in the very essence of their existence.
At the core of this type of mandala, we find the majestic "Mount Meru," the cosmic mountain, or the human being themselves, personified by the Eye. Throughout history, the Eye has held deep symbolic meaning in various cultures. Its interpretation varies depending on culture and context, but generally, the Eye is associated with concepts related to acute perception, constant vigilance, unwavering protection, and unfathomable wisdom.
The Eye occupies the epicenter of this mandala, serving as the beacon from which the movements of planets, influences of the five elements, cardinal directions, and subtle bodies unfold.
